LPG Facts
- Current fuel prices (Petrolprices.com – 25.03.08) LPG – 57.9ppl, Diesel – 114.2ppl, Unleaded – 106.8ppl
- Conversion for all of our LPG vehicles is undertaken by Subaru UK and as such come with full 3 year manufacturer warranty.
- The LPG tank is fitted in the space of the spare wheel. A tyre puncture repair kit is provided in lieu of the spare tyre.
- The vehicle has two fuel tanks – the standard unleaded tank and the additional lpg tank, thus extending significantly the range of the car. The vehicle is fitted with a separate fuel gauge for the lpg tank.
- You can switch between lpg and unleaded at any time by pressing a dash mounted button, even when driving.
- There is no appreciative difference in performance between the two fuel types, though lpg has a slightly lower miles per gallon.
- LPG emits around 20% less CO2 than Unleaded fuel.
- LPG benefits from lower excise duty and is currently free from London’s Congestion Charge.
- LPG (Autogas) is available at petrol stations widely across the UK.
